Quiksilva
A registered Irish Draught bred in Ireland, his sire Silver Granite is no longer with us. We believe he is the only Silver Granite stallion in the UK. He makes an excellent outcross to those who have a King of Diamonds mare or a Pride of Shaunlara mare.
Now 5 years old he is 17.1hh and filling out all the time. Quiksilva has great presence and stunning off the floor paces. He is the sort of horse that just fills the space - no matter how big, and also has a huge scopey jump. Although he was easy to back and was riding well we have turned him away to grow into his frame - we think he is going to be something special so we see it as an investment!
Quiksilva has covered his first mares this year, and was a complete gentleman, he would be ideal for those looking to add some height and movement to their foals, or maybe you’ve got the Grey bug and fancy producing your own ‘little’ Quiksilva!
A word about Silver Granite
For those of you who don’t know Silver Granite, he was Reserve Champion at the Royal Dublin Show in 1989 and 1993. His progeny (offspring) have acheived over 600 showjumping points making him a prolific sire of showjumpers including Ard Grandpa RID.
