Welcome to our Stallion pages, we hope that you will enjoy reading about our stallions. Each one has been purchased as a youngster and started their training with ourselves. Recognising that there is no ‘quick’ introduction to the world of standing stallions, we have enjoyed watching their journey from playful colts to mature stallions.
We have learnt that where stallions feel secure, they will afford you enough respect to not only put up with you but also work with you in a very loyal and rewarding way. We know that they allow us to work with them, that it is our word and not our physical strength that they respect.
So with this in mind, you’ll find our boys are turned out regularly, Quiksilva and Gladiator are turned out together and put on a real show for the passing traffic.
As you can see below they are the best of friends
Creevagh Diamond Pride prefers his own company but is happy to hack out with the other geldings and normally spends his summers with his mares. This makes our boys amenable and relaxed, even our farrier describes them as ‘ponies’, which is a compliment on their temperament.
