Fresian x Dales Approx 16.2hh - rising

Bought as a yearling in Northumberland, his father was a full Fresian known as Midnight Warrior and his mum was a Fresian x Dales, so he is more Fresian than Dales.  He has a slightly heavier build than a full Fresian, having said that he is at the top of the height for a normal Fresian we did not expect him to get so high!  Anyway everybody loves him, most men like him and he would be a good horse to a husband, he can carry the weight! 

He hacks out alone or in company, he does not buck or take off, he stands for the farrier and is good in the stable.  He loads well and has been mainly used as a hack, we usually put people on him whom we have never seen ride before, as if you get it wrong he does not do anything naughty.

He is a very loveable character he follows you round the field in the summer and looks for attention from you.  He has been out on loan a couple of times and always comes back with stellar reports!

The mare (which is not the horse in this photo) was a very good flat racing mare, winning 6 races over the flat.

To say we’re excited about this one would be an understatement, in fact we are really tempted to keep him. You can see his mum is really looking after him as he is a picture of health.

Clearly a wonderful Sports Horse, who will come with an Irish Draught Society Sports Horse passport.
