Winter 2010

The snow has proved a testing time for us since before Christmas, leaving us with a lot to catch up on!  Fortunately the weather has improved drastically, that and our new round pen means we are back on track.

Quiksilva and Gladiator are really going through their paces now, practising loose jumping and demonstrating that ‘joining up’ is possible with stallions, even if they are in full view of mares.

Creevagh Diamond Pride is back limbering up reminding us that 1.2m is more than possible now.

The slight improvement in the weather is giving our mares that spring feeling and we have seen some of them starting to come into season.

Our newest acquisition ‘Stan’ a yearling from Newmarket yearling sales is settling in very well and looking like ’Holy Roman Emperor’ his sire, view this stallion at the Coolmore site.
